The Non PC PC

This ad for Sony Viao is a consumer-oriented ad.  This ad is apart of the brand-image and attitude subsets of a consumer-oriented ad.  The ad demonstrates brand-image because it creates a personality for the brand.  The image that is expressed in this ad is a girl who likes the latest fashion, and she wearing trendy clothes.  Attitude is found in the copy that states “the non pc pc.”  This statement conveys attitude because it is saying that the Sony Viao is so different that it goes one step further than a Mac computer.  The strategy of this ad is saying that if you want a new and improved laptop that has more features and a trendy and modern look, then you should buy a Sony Viao because it has everything a PC and Mac have, plus more.
