Don’t Blend In

The ad I chose for today’s blog is for the Toyota Ruckus. The strategy behind this ad was to sell this car to people who are confident and want to stand out. It sells the idea that if you buy a Ruckus you will not blend in, but  stand out among the crowd. This ad is an example of a consumer-oriented ad. It stresses an attitude, but in a way its also promotes a lifestyle. It promotes a cool and confident way of thinking and living. Overall, I would say the ad is effective in getting the message across.
