This product-oriented ad from Mr. Clean emphasizes the product’s feature.  The ability to clean your floors and surfaces to the point of luminescence, while slightly exaggerated, is the main strategy that the ad employs.

This is important because as a cleaning product, people expect certain results.  I assume that the most effective way to sell products like these is to emphasize its practical benefits, rather than play off of a particular lifestyle, image, or attitude.

The implication that your floors will glow after using Mr. Clean is an effective way to use this strategy.  The ad also takes the idea a little further by making the reader think for a minute about the message.
