Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs

1.  Psychological Needs: This Applebee’s advertisment let’s everyone know that if they were to go to Applebee’s their hunger need would be fulfilled. Just look at all that food.

2.  Safety Needs: This advertisment for the city of Davis in California lets unsafe drivers know they’ll be caught and lets safe drivers know that they’ll be safe. Use street smarts and you’ll be alright. Trust him.

3.  Love and Belongingness Needs: This Advertisment for Calvin Klein fragrances (one for him, one for her) is implying that if you wear their perfume/cologne you will be loved. How true is this? Probably not very but it applies with those desiring to be loved.

4.  Esteem Needs: This advertisment for Puma’s soccer shoes is basically saying until the completely reinvented leg comes out in the distant future (which they’re working on at Puma) use this soccer shoe because it is top of the line and state of the art for the time.

5.   Self-actualization Needs: Once beyond making yourself happy doing something for others or for a good cause is the next step. Susan G. Komen knows that people want to do good and that’s what they’ve built their organization off of. (This is actually an old advertisement before they changed their name.) Be happy by making others happy.

  1. This design is incredible! You certainly know how to keep a reader entertained.
Between your wit and your videos, I was almost moved to start my own blog (well, almost.

..HaHa!) Excellent job. I really enjoyed what you had to say, and more than that,
how you presented it. Too cool!

  2. It’s an remarkable article in support of all the web users; they will take advantage from it I am sure.

  3. Heya this is kind of of off topic but I was wanting to know if blogs use
WYSIWYG editors or if you have to manually code with HTML.
I’m starting a blog soon but have no coding expertise so I wanted to get advice from someone with experience. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

  4. Wow that was unusual. I just wrote an extremely long comment but after I clicked submit my comment didn’t appear.
Grrrr… well I’m not writing all that over again.
Anyways, just wanted to say fantastic blog!
