This print ad for Ray Ban appeals to people’s Exhibition and Independent needs by implying that Ray Ban sunglasses offer the benefits of public attention and individuality.

The strategy of the ad is to generate interest using a familiar visual cue that reinforces Ray Ban’s position, that freedom, expression, and individuality are easy to attain.

Pianos are always black and white, and up to this point, sunglasses have been, too.  Showing technicolor piano keys, something that most haven’t seen before, reminds the audience that there are other ways to express themselves that may  have been overlooked in the past.
