Taco Bell Coin Wrappers

David Styler, a student at the Art Center College of Design in California, created this award-winning ad. It won the student best of show award at the 2009 Addys.

The core message of this advertisement is value. In essence he is saying “look at everything you can buy from Taco Bell with just some spare change!”

It is a relatively simple but straightforward ad. I do not believe that the execution of this ad deters from the concept in any way. I feel that the execution is unique and appealing to Taco Bell’s target audience. The ad is so straightforward that it does not include any copy, which reinforces the simplicity of it.
