Reebok: Easy Tones

I had been watching the fad of the “shaping shoes” for quite sometime before I actually decided I needed to a pair. Let’s be real, we’ve all seen the Sketchers version, ‘Shape Ups,’ and how ridiculous they look. I mean, I would rather skip out on sleep to make time for the gym then be caught dead in Shape Ups. But then Reebok came out with the Easy Tone, which were not only more attractive looking, but directed toward a younger audience. The advertisements for the Easy Tone show young, healthy, fit, women walking around in everyday situations wearing their Easy Tones. Simply walking in a more stylish tennis shoe while getting fit, how could I not buy them? I find these advertising strategies to be extremely effective. They targeted a completely different audience and I, a member of that audience, fell right in.
