The strategy behind the Ariel Sensitive Ad is, this laundry detergent is gentle enough for babies to touch.

I believe this ad shows affiliation. It does that by having a father with his child laying in the grass. It helps the viewer somehow relate in a family way. This also falls under nurturance. It is a laundry detergent to provide care for clothes. It also has been cleared through the British Allergy Foundation that it wont irritate the skin. This ad shows diversion by having the father and child laying in he grass. It has a relaxing setting. They also show some security by mentioning the British Allergy Foundation. It shows that the laundry detergent is safe for everyone to use.
